Correct, dispute, or remove your listing

Ontario Excavation & Demolition Directory lists demolition contractors across Ontario and scores them by applying a fixed, published rubric to public Google reviews. All business data comes from publicly available sources. Your listing is free to have, and no payment moves a score or changes your ranking on this site. This page explains how to correct factual errors, dispute a score, or request removal. The full rubric is published under how we rank.

Corrections to your facts

If your business name, address, phone number, website, hours, or service offerings are wrong on your listing, you can request a correction. Provide the correct information and point to where it is published, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once we verify the correction against that source, we update your listing. Corrected facts stay in place through future data refreshes.

Disputing a score

Scores are never edited by hand. If you believe your score is wrong, the issue is that the source data is wrong. That might mean your listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews are attributed to you that belong elsewhere, or a summary misstates what your reviewers actually wrote. When you dispute a score, we re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; it is a claim that the input is incorrect.

Requesting removal

We remove listings for businesses that are permanently closed, are duplicates of another listing, or fall outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly verification cycle automatically catches and removes closed businesses. If your listing meets a removal reason, we will take it down. If your business is open and in scope, your listing may be declined for removal, and we will tell you why.

Our response times

Every request gets an acknowledgment within 5 business days. If we confirm your removal request, we action it within 7 days. If we decline your request, we give you the reason plainly.
