Privacy notice

Ontario Excavation & Demolition Directory is an independent directory of demolition contractor businesses in Ontario, published by Ontario Excavation & Demolition Directory. This page explains what information the site collects when you use it, where that information goes, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect

The forms on this site (enquiries and quote requests) collect the details you type in: name, email address, phone number, your message, and any service or timing answers the form asks for. Each submission also carries the URL of the page it was sent from, plus traffic-source attribution such as the referring site and UTM parameters, so we know which page and channel the enquiry came through.

Where your enquiry goes

When you submit a form, our lead-capture processor handles the submission and passes it to two parties: the business your enquiry concerns and the operator of this site. Nothing you submit is published on the site itself.

Local storage

To keep attribution accurate, the site stores traffic-source details (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in your browser’s sessionStorage. This is first-party, lives only for the current browser session, and is not a tracking cookie: it never follows you to other sites and disappears when the session ends.

Analytics

Where analytics is enabled on this site, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may set cookies to help us understand which pages visitors use. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that data.

Services this site loads

Three third-party services can receive requests from your browser while you use this site: Google Fonts, which serves the site’s typefaces; OpenStreetMap, which serves map tiles; and Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects forms from spam when enabled. Each sees request data such as your IP address and handles it under its own policy.

Where listing data comes from

The business listings on this site are compiled from publicly available sources, including Google Business Profile reviews. We store derived analysis (scores, summaries, sentiment), not raw review text. If your business is listed and you want a correction or removal, the listing policy explains how.

Retention and your requests

We keep enquiry details for as long as they are needed to route and follow up your enquiry. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact ontariodirectorypartners@gmail.com.
