Review evidence is limited. Metropoint Demolition Toronto operates from North York with claimed credentials including 15+ years experience, WSIB registration, and $5M liability coverage. Their website lists residential and commercial demolition, interior strip-out, and concrete work across Toronto and surrounding regions.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
All four reviews are one-star. Reviewers report the owner failed to deliver materials or attend jobs, refused to return deposits after cancellation, and allegedly uses aliases and holds projects hostage for money beyond the agreed contract price. Multiple reviews warn of police involvement and fraud patterns across years.
GFL Environmental handles waste, recycling, and demolition services across North America, but recent reviews paint a starkly negative picture. Long-standing customers report soaring fees ($130+ per tonne plus fuel surcharges), unresponsive customer service, missed pickups despite multiple requests, and driver misconduct including traffic infractions, parking violations, and harassment. The single North York facility runs with operational constraints (one scale, frequent closures during listed hours) that leave customers frustrated.
One review rates this business at one star, but no review text is available to identify specific problems. The business claims over 30 years' experience and holds COR Safety and ISO 45001:2018 certifications, yet the single rating contradicts this positioning.
